The property was in perfect condition, and had everything we could have needed and more. The owners were accessible but not intrusive. Would definitely return to this property on a future visit!

This is the nicest property we've ever booked. It was clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully appointed with every convenience. It's located in a quiet neighborhood conveniently close to downtown Wellsboro with plenty of shops, restaurants and entertainment. Our hosts were awesome folks, both friendly and helpful. A Cozy Home Away from Home!

This 1901 construction residence has all you need to enjoy your stay in historic Wellsboro, and the surrounding Pennsylvania countryside. Whether you are just in town for business, and need a walk into town for dinner, or are planning multiple days of hiking in Pennsylvania’s Grand Canyon and Tioga State Forest, this is the place to start your adventure! Two beautifully appointed bedrooms share a large bath with shower. The owners (Lori and Gary, who live next door) have stocked the cabinets with luxurious towels and linens – and everything is exceptionally clean and bright. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for coffee, tea or a full-on dinner. Down the hall, the living room and adjoining parlor allow relaxation with Wi-Fi accessible smart TV, or just a game of Scrabble with the family. Just one word of warning – Gary and Lori have a dog named Reese. Reese is one of the sweetest, gentlest dogs I have known in my life. We got introduced as I was sitting on the front porch reading the paper. Suddenly, Reese showed up – the paper-reading ended, and tummy-rubbing commenced. I would come back to ‘Back in the Day’ again – if only to hang out with Reese! This residence is warm and inviting, and the hosts are a fantastic resource for what’s going on in the area.
